Yahoo Mail really insecure for inactive users!

    Hi,

I don't know if someone already mentioned this. I created a new Y! email account for a Twitter account I wanted to create for my business.

The name I wanted was taken...well fine so I take one they recommend me. I validate the registration and head up to Twitter to create the account but they tell me this email address is already in use!
So I ask a new password out of curiosity, and it appears the account belongs to a member with thousands of followers, so potentially I could have taken over his Twitter account thanks to Yahoo.
To make sure I checked Facebook : he has an active account with 100+ friends.
I didn't go further, but he also had an active Itunes account, I received just after that a receipt for a song he bought that day!

Lucky for him I was honest enough to warn him, but it's really frightening. If your Yahoo mail account gets inactive, they will just offer it to the first newcomer and potentially disclose sensitive information to that person.

Hacking an email account by mistake, I didn't think that would happen to me.
Does this feel right to you?
