His account might have been hacked into and/or his PC would be infected with a virus which might be trying to spread itself through such emails to all... in his contact list! Alert him of this fact and tell him to strengthen his password and clean his PC! Regards, RightMan
There are 2 possible reasons 1. His account is likely to being hacked. Most of this kind of hack is happen when someone did log in his/her email via public PC / Internet Cafe and forgot to signed out before went home. 2. His PC may possbile infected with Trojan / Malware which send email via his account when he logged in. I would recommend to use freeware such as Malwarebytes to got it fixed.
More and more spammer and hacker nowadays, not suprise to see this kind of thing happen Honestly, yahoo mail not good in filtering spam mail compare to gmail
I agree that his account was probably hacked or something. I don't like using yahoo mail, I think that they are really REALLY slow especially compared to Google. It seems that Yahoo is slow with everything, ex: indexing.
i am agree with RightMan. Might be your account is hacked or pc is infected with the virus. You can change your account password with regular interval and you can make your password tricky but not simple one. dont keep your birthdate and vehicle number as a password.
hase been breached Email this to a friend and he must quickly change its own email data and protects the device's computer as a breach of a protection programs
this might be caused by spywares/virus on your computer or hackers.. so just be careful in signing up to some websites that requires you to type your yahoo email and password..
be careful in signing up to some websites that requires you to type your yahoo email and password..
You should never be giving out your password at all. Automation of certain functions in exchange for compromising your password is not worth it.
Wow, these responses are drivel (sorry). OK, at this point there are a bunch of things that might have happened: - His account has been compromised - His password has been stolen - His computer has malware The safest thing to do is: 1. reinstall OS on computer 2. run virus scanner on retained files 3. change yahoo mail password 4. change yahoo mail security question data 5. Stay away from web cafes If you've identified a virus, malware, root-kit, etc. check other computers on the network. Good luck.
The only thing i can say is that his PC is infected with a messenger bot. You may not get it when doing a normal scan, the only way to get that bot is by using an antivirus that has a native boot scan. I suggest you can try QuickHeal or Kaspersky, whichever you like best. I have had this experience and all was well after i cleaned it out Thanks & Regards
I heard a couple of times that yahoo is still the most popular search engine. Is that true? and if true which criteria is used ? I am a Google person and I see no reason why yahoo will ever be more popular than Google.
you can block the spammers address maybe the id is same as your friend's and not his id itself or maybe his account has been hacked
