Yahoo Mail is TRASH right now!!!!

I am not getting emails till 12 houurs or more after they were sent...its slow.....its PATHETIC

anyone else having problems?

 

I've had that happen to me before, I switched to gmail and never looked back. But that is tough when you've used Yahoo for years.

I don't use yahoo mail but my mom does, sign up for gmail, the best email ever

Yeah really. Pop3 private mailserver is my primary. No doubt about it.

Yahoo is really suck. I have my 1 GB storage almost to it limits because of spam. Any I don't really care! I've my Gmail - it's simple, safe (they block phishing, spoof) and a whooping 2GB+++ storage.

The only reason I still keep my Yahoo mail is because of flickr.com.

 

I've had Yahoo mail for years and have rarely had a problem with it. I think people are too quick to jump ship to some trendy new dealio at the slightest provocation.

 

Actually, Yahoo! removed their 1GB limit. They now offer unlimited email space.

 

some msgs that was sent to me were delayed (yahoomail) ... i have to wait for couple of hours to receive it...

 

It is running ok for me, sometime happen, but for a couple of hs...

 

They run greylisting (or "special deprioritizing of mail servers" if you ask them..). I noticed before that it can take a few tries for it to deliver the mail.. (you'll get an 451 Message temporarily deferred error).

note: last time i checked with yahoo was a few months ago so it might have changed.

For each try that fails it's protocol standard to wait even longer before trying to deliver it again, i noticed a few took around a day to deliver... and that one who waited for the mail complained to me, oh well, i explained the yahoo situation and told it wasn't my fault. Sucks that it happens tho and people blame you.

it depends, my local yahoo mail always seems to get email from europe a little slower than the one I sign up in the US but other than that yahoo is still a good email service. Gmail has its own problems too.

 

Never had a problem with Yahoo Mail or Gmail. Hotmail, on the other hand, has been a different story. The spam filtering is horrible, and the one email address I have with them is all but unusuable thanks to the abundance of spam.

 

Yahoo Mail is very stable for me but the Spam Guard is horrible. How many times does it need to see the word "penis" to know it's spam?

 

Yahoomail is the worst ever!!! They wont deliver fast and the ads in the sent mails worsen the experience.

I've switched to Gmail and its the best now!!
