    Hello,

Is there any possibility our email get hijacked? yahoo mail in particular.

For the past 3 days, I'm not able to login to my yahoo email with message "invalid id or password" eventhough I've confirmed myself the id and pwd is correct...and I did not make any password change etc.

If it get hijacked, is that mean my information stored on my email will be reading ny the hijackers.

What should I do in order to resolve this?

Anyone experience this before? would appreciate if you could share.

    br,
    A.nawar

Are you using Google Web Accelerator or Fasterfox? I have had some strange login problems with these proxy plugins but not with yahoo or DP.

i went thru this kind of thing before and it turned out that someone was logging in under my name and password and trying to screw it up. The person turned out to be someone who i thought was my friend. I didn't give her the info, she figured it out. Have you ever given your password or something to a friend or acquaintence of yours?

i've had good experience with yahoo customer care. i email support at yahoo dot ca, get an automated reply and then reply again and then i've had correspondences with actual people that are quite helpful. then you get to provide feedback on how they did so they seem to be trying to provide good customer support.

There are various thing which can lead to this problem... Proxy settings are one of them.

There are various softwares like web Accelerator, Google Web accelerators, Hide IP, and other tools. What I mean is that you remove your Proxy.

I never got complaining about customer service for somthing that is free.

Use the "I forgot my password or ID" Link, and go that way.

If you still can't get in, then create a new account and tell your friends your address has changed.

As I've said there is nothing you can do to retrieve your account. Unless you know who hijacked your email and ask him/her to give back your account. Otherwise you can't get back your account because he/she changed everything on your data on the account so that you cannot retrieve again your email account. About their customer service they are just like paypal customer service some of them can understand you but others can't because some of them are trained monkeys. They just follow a flow chart, if they dont see it on flow chart they can't answer you anymore.

try entering 'hack yahoo email' in google and check out what comes up. people claim there is a way but i've never tried it. just don't pay for anything because it's probably a scam if they ask you to pay.

this could also mean yahoo terminated your account, and most likely because you were sending spammy emails....or else someone hacked your account
