Hello everyone, I'm running a small social networking website, and users have the ability to send emails by entering their Yahoo ID / Password, (you know..) Recently, I've seen that many emails are sent to bulk instead inbox. How do big websites like myspace/hi5 send their emails into inbox? Or protect against being tagged as spam ? Thanks alot,
Big companies, have the facility to directly contact their yahoo representative and solve this problems., (this is available if you advertise in yahoo network)
Even "You Have Received A Private Message At Digital Point" going to bulk for me. Is it part of yahoos anti google campaign?
for me the inverse. many bulk mails are sneaking into my inbox. I receive 3-4 mails about payday loans everyday. tagging them as spam does not work.
Yahoo does send alot of registration emails to their bulk folder. You can email them and request a form that they send you and you will have to fill it out with all kinds of information and if approved, they will put your emails right through the inbox. You can also ask a server admin and they can tweak some settings so your emails can get through.
You could fill this form out and see if they help you: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/cgi_bulkmail
Just check the mail and click on not spam and move it you Inbox. Also add the mail address of the received mail in your Address book. After this you wont receive the next mail in Spam or Bulk folder. Adding of email address in address book acts as an answer to Yahoo that the mail is a legit one and isnt a Spam. I hope this will help you. If you still have problem then post more details on Yahoo Mail forum I have a big base of Yahoo users and someone will definately provide you with a proper answer.
Libertate, has the correct link. Fill out this form and then they will email you another form to fill out with alot of technical stuff. Then they will whitelist you or do whatever they do..
You can add any email address you would like to receive emails from to your address book and you will always receive the emails in your inbox.
