    Hi guys,

I am on the first page of yahoo, Alta vista, and MSN for most of my keywords, but for Google i am on the 8th page on one of my keywords, and my other keywords aren't even ranked. Why is this?

    thanks.

Algorithm of all search engines are different so you cannot compare that you are getting rank on yahoo but not on Google as algorithms confidential. May be Google has very different rules and algorithm to give rank to any sites than Yahoo, Alta Vista and MSN.

The on-page factor is most important in yahoo. The density of keywords are also important if you want to be top in yahoo. For google, relevant backlinks are more important. So you are getting different results in different search engines.

Google is heavily dependent on high quality high pr backlinks. Try obtaining more backlinks.

yahoo and msn consider no follow link as a backlinks and set positions according to it.
Google has no value for no follow links..

so you may have more backlnks from these no follow site...
