hi, well is it better to get listed in Yahoo directories or to get link-exchange (either one way or reciprocal) while yahoo listing having PR6 while other backlinking can have PR6 or PR7 so which one is better to invest ???
Presuming that your site is new without any PR or PR 0, Other Links having PR 6 or PR 7, In most cases wont give you a link exchange deal. In that case you will have to buy links on such sites..... If you can manage to grab some really cheap deals with such sites, then you can get may be a couple or even more links worth PR 6 or 7, and that too in the price that you pay to Yahoo to include. So, if I were you, Id rather go for other PR 6 or 7 Sites...
I would like to know how much traffic should i expect if i get my site listed on yahoo directory by paying $299 or whatever they charge do you think i would get about 200-300 unique hits from there by any chance? coz that what i would need to break even if its $299 for a year
well my site is already having PR5 and i want to get its backlinking be improved more by having serveral PR6,PR7 inbound links. so if i get those links (individual links) from exchanging or buying (ofcourse a afforable deal), then those wont be bringing me that much traffic and ranking .....what do u say ??? and if i get submitted my site to yahoo then its will be submitted in whole yahoo netnwork (also the Directories and Alltheweb.com which do linkage take from/to yahoo) so wont it be bring me more traffic also yahoo having higher pagerank then those individual linking ?? so kindly comment on it ...
Yahoo directory doesn't provide a LOT of traffic...but it's beneficial in the sense that Yahoo is trusted by Google and Yahoo (of course) so the link quality is counted as high...and so....it's a good investment.
