Google has a keyword tool telling you how often people search for keywords per month and on adverage. Does yahoo have a similar and somewhat accurate alternative that will help give me a better idea of what keywords are being searched for on yahoo?

Thanks in advance for any help.

No Yahoo does not currently have such a tool. You can use either wordtracker or seobook's keyword tool for Yahoo & MSN search volume estimates. I'm not sure how accurate these tools are though.

Personally I just base my keyword decisions on Google's keyword tool while taking into account that Yahoo will have much less volume and statistical deviations for some keywords. I do keyword research to compare keywords relatively, not to determine any kind of exact numbers.

You could try this tool http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ but I'm not sure if it's accurate.

You cannot get the ideas for the popular keywords in yahoo. There are many keyword suggestion tools including google keyword suggestion, keyword discover and word trackers. These are the best tools.

    Okay guys. I appreciate that.

I just wanted to get an idea of popular search terms in Yahoo specifically as it seems a lot easier to rank in from an seo perspective.

    Thanks for the input though.
