    Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to stop yahoo from charging my credit card ALL the time?!! Can anyone help me, please?!!

I had $300 in my account a few days ago and all I wanted to do is to let that money run out and then stop the campaign I was running and stop marketing with Yahoo for this month. But I keep getting charged $50 every day and my account NEVER goes under $300...

My account daily spending limit is $120 and I am spending about $100... is there anything I can do to stop this... I have tried EVERYTHING... I just want to use the remaining funds and then stop... how can I do that???

    Cheers

    Hi,

I suppose you are referring to Sponsor Search account.

If you are, just go to your contol panel and update your budget. Change your daily budget. You may also like to change the option where you either permit Yahoo to auto charge your card or you add funds manually when it got depleted.

You should then monitor your spending. If the prob still persist, suspend your account and inform them about your prob through email. You may also call them direct.

    Hope that helps.

They aren't pulling anything, when you sign up for an account your payment method is set to "prepay" if your funds go below than 3x your daily budget then they will charge you. Just e-mail them or speak to them on the phone, let them know you don't want your credit card charged automatically, you want to fund your account yourself when funds are depleted. Then they'll change your payment method to "none", it's not complicated as soon as you speak to them, changes take immediately.

All you have to do is edit your credit card that is filled in Yahoo database to some random expiration date or something and they will stop charging you because they wouldn't be able to.

Google is nice in how they setup their adwords. They are clear about how to turn on or off the auto payment feature.

YSM is not. I signed up and started using it and thought that was the case, but by default they will automatically charge your card based on how you setup your ad budget. YSM does have the option to disable the auto pay feature but you have to look very deeply to find it. Just click every link available and keep looking and you should be able to disable it, and also use the remaining funds in your account. After they have been depleted then delete all of your ads and groups. Then do the smart thing cease using YSM.

I have been a stupid victim of AOL - they are the worst service you can come across. I originally was getting Web hosting from Yahoo! but I canceled and they seemed to keep charging me too. Anyway, AOL does rip you off!
