Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how to stop yahoo from charging my credit card ALL the time?!! Can anyone help me, please?!! I had $300 in my account a few days ago and all I wanted to do is to let that money run out and then stop the campaign I was running and stop marketing with Yahoo for this month. But I keep getting charged $50 every day and my account NEVER goes under $300... as a matter of fact I have more and more funds every day! My account daily spending limit is $120 and I am spending about $100... is there anything I can do to stop this... I have tried EVERYTHING... I just want to use the remaining funds and then stop... how can I do that??? Cheers Gibran
First delete your Credit Card from the account. Then write to the support. I has the same problem and they refund my money. After this I don`t want to her about Yahoo...They have expensive and unproductive traffic.
Well you gotta call them up and complain. They once charged my card $50 multiple times in a day, and all I did was call them up to say I wanted my account put into Post-Pay mode, and they did it. I beg to differ. Traffic is all nearly the same - it is how we qualify and monetize it.
E-mail does work, this is exactly what you tell them - (although I would call them if you want to stop getting your card charged right away). Tell them that you like to add funds to your account manually when the funds in your account are depleted instead of your credit card being charged automatically. In other words you want to change your payment method from "prepaid" to "none". They'll let you know you can only do this once, if you go back to prepay then they won't change it back.
Since you can't delete a credit card from your account (yeah F you to Yahoo) the only way I have found is to call them or to edit the cards data. I find it much easier to just edit my credit card, change the address, change the cv2, change the expiration date and they wont be able to bill you.
Why dont you just turn your campaign off lol, then it stops charging money i personally like yahoo more then google adwords, less competition imo
You should convert your account to prepaid and uncheck that auto charging option or put 0 amount to automatically charged.. that will disable the auto charging
Unless they changed somthing the only way to change your account settings is to e-mail support and request it. You could also just open accounts with pre-paid gift cards with only $31 bucks on them. That stops their auto charging dead in its tracks. Thats what I do now, first time I messed with yahoo I was charged $300 in one day on 10 $30 charges.. Ill never give them a real credit card again.
