The balance in mine is still down. I noticed it last night, but never comprehended it... I just want to know what the F*** is going on...
The worst thing Yahoo can do is decide to suddenly audit for invalid clicks like this. If they had just audited as they went along then peoples earnings would have been lower but without the sudden feeling like you have lost loads of cash. Chikita did this and never recovered the trust of its users.
Adsense is worse.... They have low paying clicks! Also, adsense terminates everyone that actually makes money! Screw adsense But, wtf is happening with ypn
Awesome comment. In regards to the other people commenting about the stock, I can say as a stockholder of yahoo I have very high hopes of YPN doing well and this is not a sign of it unfortunatly. Invalid clicks should never be counted at all.
And RPC is halved for the last 3 days. Whatever they are doing it is bad (for them). Back to AdSense for me.
All in all we have members who have lost more than 10K$ and no one knows what actually happened? Get down to the support, give them a call, fire an email. That is a lot of money from the place where I come from.
ill tell ya one thing, if $8k disapeared from ANY account i had, be it bank account or internet account, i would be straight on the phone.... nobody doesn't need $8k that much (except maybe shoe and shawn, but i'm guessing they would be on the phone straight away as well )
You'd think Yahoo would realise that auditing like this just annoys the living daylights out of people. Chitika had huge problems because of this, invalid clicks (due to out of region or similar things) should never appear in your account. I can see the same thing happening with YPN that happened with Chitika - the honeymoon's over and now lots of people are out looking around for a new piece of a**.
I thought I read somewhere that YPN had a filter going, so that int'l clicks were never counted into an account.
Ouch Although I'm sad that I can't be losing mass sums of money (b/c i don't make it) that still sucks nontheless.
