    Its not wierd at all.
    Ive seen some mods/plugins for cms's that actually take spam keep the anchor text but change the url..

    so if say you have

    format= anchor-txt : url

    Buy Viagra : http://uncletomsgotastick.com

    the plugin would do this be default

    Buy Viagra : http://google.com

    does anyone here have a wordpress blog......there have been a lot of spammers recently using comment spam with buy viagra and cialis as the anchor text but the url links to google.

    I don't know why spammers would do this but this is the only theory that comes to mind.
