Well, yahoo isn't that bad. It can give you more result for some not very popular search terms than google!

For new sites it is much easier to rank in Yahoo than in Google where you are in most cases hit by the sandbox effect. For clients who have just launched new sites I can achieve high rankings in Yahoo and MSN in the very first month to showcase my SEO efforts, while working on Google is a long-term project...:)

Are you drunk or on drugs?

Yea, and Google is the worst search engine too!!! As they don't rank my site, which I made today #1 for "viagra" keyword...

    IMHO. Even not funny.

If everyone would think like you, there won't be any good search engines, just bad. It's digitalpoint, not Yahoo fault, how come that other sites ranks there well? Cause they know how to.

Agree with those who prefere Google. It seems that Yahoo's search results are less accurate than Google's. Normally, when comparing competition for a keyphrase yahoo gives 1.5 - 2 times more pages.

I've been using Yahoo a lot recently and noticed that vs Google for some things it does ok but for others it does poorly.

It seems Google is a lot better at indexing fresh data. I have some sites Google has completely indexed that Yahoo hasn't even touched.

Yahoo is a good search engine. But where yahoo lacks and google gains is on spamming . Google can detect spamming where as yahoo cant

One keyword based research is not enough to declare some search engine 'worst'.

You forgot about Microsoft's Live search engine? :D

I won't say that Yahoo is the worst S.E, coz if it's the worst S.E, then it shouldn't be included on the 3 Big S.E (Search Engine)...

Actually I have a site for a specific key term that I SEO'd and it comes up 1st on yahoo. On top of that the keywords have nothing to do with the name of my domain.
