Its because yahoo users mostly use IE...
    very simple logic :)

why bother to convert them from IE to FX .. why not offer them better what they already have. ;)

was an IE skeptic myself, but frankly speaking when i started using it, i found it to be a worthy opponent to FF, though the new interface does take some time to get used to.

From article "So Yahoo! is marketing Internet Explorer 7.0. But the funny thing is, Internet Explorer 7.0 uses Google as the default search engine."

he he he, It's really great:)

I wouldn't be suprised if Yahoo! are getting a huge amount of money from MS. Who knows what they're agenda is. All I know is MS HATE Google, and by creating a friendly coalition with Google's biggest competitors, Yahoo!, maybe they're trying to 'gang up' on Google in some way or other:)

I find it very hard to believe MS are going to use Google, their biggest competitor they HATE as the default search engine for ther browser?

If it's true, I'm sure conspiracy theorists are going to leap onto this somehow about MS gathering covert data from Google lol.

yahoo has been offering ie for a while now atleast about a year smart move also
consider average user wants the new ie and downloads it from yahoo now his default page is yahoo and the default search is also yahoo plus a yahoo toolbar
he will nver change a thing and yahoo gets himself a good user
if any cash changes hand that's a plus

Yeah. Well that's it isn't it. I think alot of the time people don't have a clue on how to use the internet and just take the internet to be whatever comes up as their homepage, so if you think how many people out there now are in this situation well it's virtually a goldmine of unexperienced / limited users.

old thread, I know. But what surprised me was logging into my paypal account and seeing paypal promote IE7 as well. One would think they'd be more likely to promote firefox which is definitely a more secure way to go.

I really hope more people switch to firefox because i.e has too many damn bugs, needs major investment to bring it upto the standard of firefox.

    EVERYONE MOVE TO FIREFOX.
