    I hate to say this but I sort of don't agree with you.. with communication now, it is better to use skype for IM and gmail for messaging.. Although I still maintain yahoo account for yahoo answer purposes.

    yahoo is good for mail and online chatting,but for voice calls skype and g talk are the best.

    Yahoo has strict email laws and there spam fighting isn't effective when compared to google. Their services may be best but not effective

    I would say Skype for IM and Gmail for email's

    I hardly use Yahoo nowadays

    You can always find Yahoo chat rooms full of BOTS and its really difficult to find a human to talk with

    yes i agree too that skype is better than yahoo bcoz of its voice quality..but before skype yahoo was best for communication.

    I liked skype as well but some of my friends uses yahoo messenger so I guess I have no choice I think yahoo win in community but for businesses I guess skype rules.

    I've stopped using Yahoo or chat. The site is always down,messing up the chat sessions. I use aol and skype and am much happier.

    I prefer MSN and Gtalk !! also sometime Skype !!
    Skype is best for Online talking .... i guess !!
