    No doubt about it. In countries like US, Germany, India, etc Google is the most widely used search engine, though yahoo has great dominance in Japan and a few other countries, but if you see at the global market, Google is having a share of at least 70% as compared to that of yahoo (around 15%).

    Yahoo has made many many missteps

    It had a chance to buy Google for $1bn but Yahoo's then CEO balked at the price

    It then gave Bing full control of its search engine (probably it's most valuable asset) for a mere $9bn... now Bing is building up its own market share at the expense of Yahoo

    actally Google is the best, but yahoo is also good to get specailly sales or prospect. yahoo can sign up for special country and langauge.For example I am from Indonesia, I sign up for yahoo in Indonesia, I get a lot sales or prospect , because my web is in Indonesia Language.

    I still prefere Yahoo more than Google, ecause:

    1. Yahoo is more interactive.
    2. Yahoo search is more direct.
    3. Yahoo is more fun. There more pictures and other fun links to go to. Manytimes you end up clicking on other links.

    Even though I love gmail and appreciate it dearly, but bottom line is Yahoo is better.
