yahoo is almost TOO easy

Anyone have issues ranking on page 1 of Yahoo?

Its almost... TOO easy.
If only I could do so in the same amount of time in Google

My website ranks reasonably well on yahoo. Still, the traffic it brings in is minimal. Infact I get more from baidu.

 

Yahoo depends more on your site's keyword. Meaning that if you are targeting "I love you" then your domain should have the keywords related like eg "I-Love-you.com" or "Iloveyou.com"

 

but max people say backlinks are more important

 

It's even easier to rank high in Bing.

And I agree with most of you, it's almost too easy to rank in Yahoo! - but that's the way it should be as Google has all the visitors.

Well ya you are right if u rank like in position 7-8 in Google you will rank 1 in Yahoo . Its weird though .

 

I rank well on Yahoo but only receive about a 1/3 of the hits from them that I get from Google.

 

Yeah I agree that ranking in Yahoo is TOO easy...but it get's little traffic compared to Google, so it's not worth it.

I am on page one of yahoo (3rd result) for a particular keyword that gets 6600 searches a month in Google.

Guess what? Yahoo has sent me only 3 visitors for that keyword! (since one month).

 

Some basic on-page SEO on your website would make you rank #1 in Bing. At least that's what happened to a few websites of mine...

 

Yahoo is much easier than Google but though you have to work proper

 

Yahoo is easier compared to Google, but I prefer Google. It's my best friend. No question about it.

 

The main traffic from SE to my site is Google, compared to Yahoo, Google's traffic is five times more than Yahoo's. So yahoo might be easy ranking but brings fewer traffic.

Most of the SEO clients wantz google page rank only, really i dont know abt yahoo page rank .......... tanx for your information ..............

 

I get almost nothing from Bing and don't even worry about them anymore.

 

I also don't worry about Bing anymore, but still manage to rank #1. Pretty awesome...
