Yahoo Hosting is it the best and cheapest available?

I was going through some hosting sites to host my website and was on the lookout for the cheapest, yahoo hosting seems to be the cheapest one staring at around $9 per month on bi-monthly payments and they are also giving free $100 yahoo search marketing credit and $50 adwords credit and also a free domain name, thats sure does look very good to me , so is this the best hosting then?

 

anybody is using yahoo's web hosting? how is it?

try 1&1, I got a domain and hosting for 6 mos for less than $20

 

yeah 1&1 is good but the problem is that accounts are restricted only to usa and canadian ppl

 

I am with jodohost.com and their support is good. H-sphere is sweet control panel as well.

 

Yahoo hosting is not the cheapest host. there are many cheaper hosts available but if you want to host a blog, yahoo hosting should be good for you.

When I first started hosting I used geocities. I then upgraded this to a paid account.

By doing this I could do more and I had a domain. But even when I was paying $8 or so dollars for hosting, I was not allowed to have a mysql database or to use php.

I didn't know the power of php and mysql as I was all new to this, but if my web hosting provider offered it then I would have seen what it was alright about and would have gone further quicker.

To me I found that Yahoo was very expensive and did not offer much for your money.

There are better hosts online

Another thing that puzzles me is that you say that you get "free $100 yahoo search marketing credit and $50 adwords credit."

You may get $100 yahoo credit which is great, but why in this world would yahoo want to give you $50 adwords credit. If they do then I don't know why as this is one of Yahoo's major competitors. Why would they want you to also get $50 adwords credit because if you used that $50 adwords credit then you would have to sign up with Adwords to use it.

i use hostgator it is great for me.

 

There are alot of webhosting but i think yahoo would be the best since its more user friendly and many people use them, including my friends.
