    Hello Guys,

    What would you do here?

I started using yahoo PPC advertising about 2mts ago, i noticed i was getting a lot of clicks from one site and when i look into it the site was showing my ad and asking people in a sneaky way to click on it, the site did not even sell the products i was selling nor the keyword i set the account up for, so i called yahoo and was told they would look into it, the first email came back and said they have looked into it and they have seen nothing that would cause a problem.

I called the fraud dept as i was mad and asked them to justify what they said and if they allow click fraud, they asked me to send them the link and what other details i had, so i did, they came back and said they do not have ads or can not find any on that site ( so they was calling me a liar).

So i had to deactivate my account, went to the site and my ad was there, so then called the fraud dept again to show them that my ad was showing on that site, they agreed then said know they have the evidence that they would send all the emails to the states and get back to me (im in the UK).

I then receive an email again from the fraud dept saying that the site is one of their sponsors, so i asked for a manager to contact me, they told me ALL managers was in a meeting, but i was promised one would call me back straight away, ive had no phone to day and this was 4 days ago.

Today i received a email again from the fraud dept saying again saying they have look into my account and see nothing wrong.

Sorry to go on but im just pulling my hair out and on top off that they still have a lot of money in my account and are not offering it back to me.

    Any advice would be great.

Hi, i did take a copy and showed them, but they have just totally avoided all my calls, telling me no manager is around to speak to and they can not help me.

Probably a large site which makes Yahoo a lot more $$$ than you do so they let it slip.

You read that right! It is not your story alone and Yahoo is not the only one doing this. Even Google protects some of its large Adsense Publishers. I have seen many people cry foul about this on forums but what's the use... this thread will die soon enough... you will probably move on to some other PPC search engine, frustrated with Yahoo... but what can you, or for that matter, anyone do about this kinda' situation?

However, if you were to really get mad and focus on getting back to them, then here's the strategy!

    1. Report the whole incident with proofs to everywhere that counts. You can start from here - http://www.ic3.gov/
    2. Set up a blog and post all the info and evidence on the blog.
    3. Start threads on all prominent forums and direct them to this blog and post their comments.
    4. Submit the blog to all social bookmarking sites including DIGG
    5. Draft and issue a press release on this incident using free press release submission services like this one - http://openpr.com/news/submit.html

If you create enough noise in the webosphere, those @$$holes at Yahoo will need to take cognizance and listen to you.

    Best of luck!

Forget about the drama; why not just turn off Content Matching so that your ads only show in the Y! SERP's?
