I am honestly getting frustrated with SEO for Yahoo. It's seems that it doesn't use neither backlinks, nor keyword density, nor anything else in order to rank its search results. Random crappy websites appear in top positions for THE MOST COMPETITIVE keywords!!! Can you believe that?!

Does anyone know what is going on?

I have found it very difficult myself trying to rank well on yahoo, I think you must have your own domain name as they dont rank .wordpress.com or .blogspot.com very high. Also try to have an established site, I would first conquer google then yahoo/

I think it's fairly easy to rank high with Yahoo. Google is a hard nut to crack.
There's another question that is more important: if you rank #1 with Yahoo, does it make a lot of difference? Well, lately I've noticed that Yahoo traffic su*ks tremendously and absolutely. It almost completely fails to translate into clicks or sales :(

I don't know and I don't care. Google is what I care about.
