Yahoo Group Disappeared - Gone

    I am the admin for a Yahoo Group. I tried to access it today and it says
    "Group not Found" I am seeing other messages on Yahoo from other folks managing Groups who are having the same issue but no answers.

    Does anyone know what is going on?

    I am not sure about this issue of Yahoo Group... Just try to contact the Yahoo team if ever there is a contact information service.

    It turns out Yahoo was doing some cleaning up of spam groups and deleted a bunch of legit groups that had been recently created.

    I did have to submit a request to get the group reinstated

    Maybe Yahoo moderators have deleted it due to spam in it.

    A friend of mine lost her Yahoo group, it definately was not a spam group. It was for a animal shelter. She has written them about it and got a very generic response.

    In SEO side, Online Group Posting now is not an effective way in gaining traffic to your site. Most of the time, people considered it as a spam. How bad is it? In that way, I decided to stop posting advertisements in Yahoo Groups. :(
