Hi, Yahoo has Geo-targeting preference for Entire Market (US & Canada) and Specific Region in US & Canada. If that is so, how they are showing there sponsored Search text based ads in yahoo search results in other countries like UK, Australia, Middle East, India, etc. I am confused. Please Help! Regards Ramki
Yahoo has different Search Marketing sites for different countries. You need to sign up for a separate account for each country. PM me to get promotional links that give free additional credit to your accounts when signing up for those services.
I have noticed for my YSM UK account that if you target the Entire Market, they send you visitors from other countries (France, Israel, USA, etc.) who visit yahoo.co.uk If I target 'Specific Regions' in UK, they try to send me UK traffic.
The same stuff. The main problem is that YSM converts for me like hell, so I can't give up with them But it's only US-Canada market. Anyone know how to merge countries in that list?? I feel sick managing a bunch of duplicate accounts.
There is no way around it. That's why you should help the MS and Yahoo merger. Microsoft will hopefully come out with a nicer platform for us!
No a MS - yahoo merger is a bad idea. The little bit of competition going against Google is going to be merged making the competition less. If Google has no competition they will get sloppy & slowly turn into sucking... Yahoo & MSN would probably be great if they had more market share.
I think they give you the option to do more then Canada and U.S based searches, you are not just limited to those two. I think you may also do UK and stuff by default if you are in that country.
How does a person get their business listing include in Yahoo Canada, is it free or is paid the only option? thanks Fix
