Yahoo error 999 ?

    Hello all,

    when i use yahoo a log time after it show error 999. and show any unable to open page. please help on it. what is Yahoo error 999

    It may be a temprary problem with Yahoo server outage.. it will go after some time.. don't worry..

    Where does it occur>? Which yahoo service are you using? Write to Yahoo support , they always respond within a couple of days, not like google where there is no response to any of your support query (even if you are paying adwords customer).

    It always happens while you check a lot sites in a short term. Usually after a while yahoo will return to normal.

    Do not worry it's ordinary appearance, going to other sites only have (a warning for that case). Please wait a while, and it did refresh it;)

    Still facing this 999 error? is there any blog or page that explains in detail about this error?
    I searched technorati and techcrunch but i could not find the details there.

    Hi,

    It happens if you post the same link in your yahoo answer source too many times. Try to use deeplinks in this case. Also might happen if the website has been banned by Yahoo.

    I beg to disagree. Yahoo is frustrating most of the times, but never funny, except in the jokes section of yahooanswers.
