Yahoo email, cannot attach file in email

Has anyone else had this issue? I compose a yahoo message and attach a file and for some reason Yahoo will not allow me to sent the attachment. It has nothing to do with the size of the file. To remedy it I send it through my gmail account or I sent the attached file from my gmail account to my yahoo and I can forward it from there. I have no idea why this happens, never know when it's going to happen either.
    thanks in advance, Jayme

Size, type of file and I think Yahoo even check for virus in outgoing messages. Most probably one of the three listed. Can also be that you have reached the limit of your mailbox, and that sending mail therefore becomes limited.

    Hi Adraco,
I've been attaching files for years on Yahoo, size and type of file has nothing to do with it. It's none of those 3 unfortunately, I keep my mailbox cleaned out. It's an odd message that pops up with no rhyme or reason whatsoever. As I mentioned, I can forward an attachment to my yahoo through gmail and send it that way. Why I can't just send it directly has me stumped. Appreciate your reply.

I have experienced similar as well. However, after logged out and re-logged in again I can attach the same file wasn't being attached earlier. Weird :p

    Hi dear
An attachment is a file that you can include as part of your email message. You can attach all types of files to your message, including word processor or spreadsheet documents, audio files, photos, image files Web pages saved as HTML files, and more. You can attach up to 50 files with a maximum message size of 25 MB.
