I have about 226 less listing on yahoo today. Has any else experienced this? Will they come back? Any Ideas what happened? This kinda suck as it lowered my link Popularity.

Yes, my link count dropped from 8,190 to 4,335 yesterday -- and is still showing this number today.

No change in my SERP, apparently this is some sort of update going on at Y! but have no idea what they are doing.

Mine came back, as I stated in a similar thread.

As further proof of how INSIGNIFICANT that Yahoo has become, there were hardly anyone noticing the glitch!

It doesn't matter if reported backlinks drop for everyone, especially when serp's remain the same. You won't make money or get traffic based on number of backlinks alone. Worry about rankings, traffic and income. Reported backlinks doesn't mean shit.

DJMC, just because nobody noticed a 1 day drop in reported backlinks, it does not mean that Yahoo is insignificant. Perhaps all the other people who noticed it know there is no point complaining about it on a forum. Yahoo is still the #2 search engine and it can deliver 10-20% of your website's traffic. To me that definitely isn't insignificant.

    I love Yahoo.
Yahoo pays my overhead and is much easier to manipulate than Google.
Their PPC is also much cheaper not to mention they will actually call you in a short time if you email them.
