Yahoo Domains

Today I received a email for a renewal:

Beginning on March 11, 2008, Yahoo!'s annual domain renewal price increases from $9.95 to $12.95 per year.

Domain names went up in price but yahoo charges more than most.

 

Yeah, I pretty agree with the rcj662 statement as Yahoo will earn more on the second year. Get it transfer to Godaddy and you will only need to pay 7.15

I will transfer all my domain names away from yahoo because 12.95 is a bit expensive

 

Good luck with your transfer. I've heard many horror stories of people who tried to transfer out & had lots of problems.

Nice blog. However, I have regged at least a dozen domains with yahoo at 1.99 and then transferred them to godaddy. Never faced any issue.

 

$12.95 is a bit steep! I agree you should switch them to GoDaddy. (Although I have also heard plenty of horror stories)
