You can register most popular TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us) for $2.99 per year. Again a limited time offer from Yahoo.

Go & get some while they were so cheap ;)

I haven't transfered any (actually i have recently bought just one domain) But my friend told that he has sold easily two of his domains at yahoo and transferred them to a place other then Yahoo. So use it at your own risk, I do not guarantee :)

Any one tried registering from outside usa?

I can choose my country, but I have to choose a US state.
Not impressed... When are google planning to start selling domains?

Stay away from Yahoo domains, it is just impossible to do anything with your domain, it is like selling your soul to them!
