    Hi

It seems that Yahoo domains offer of 1.99$ has ended. Can you still register it for 1.99, if yes please post the link here.

I tried Yahoo several years back and never will again. If you can find their customer no service number, you usually get a little girl sounding about age 18 that knows nothing. I then ask for management and they usually cannot answer my questions. You can and will spend hours on the phone solving problems at Yahoo. If Yahoo domains were free, I would never use them! It was a terrible experiance. My advice is to use a professional that specializes in the business. Yahoo is great in alot of things. I hate to put them down this hard. The domain business they just don't have it, or care if they do, IMO.

Yahoo sucks, I won't even buy domains from them for $1.99, I'd rather spend $5.99 from Name.com

I heard their renewal charges are more expensive and transferring domain is little difficult.

You can register only one domain name with same account and same CC. And an advice never work with yahoo. Their renewal fee is $9.95/year.

Transfer can be done but it takes about 15 minutes, you have to go through about 10 pages just to transfer & wait a long time, not worth the hassle.

I have one with Yahoo and yes it is extremely hard to move it out. As far as the special I was told it would be only good on the first domain and anything thereafter would be normal pricing. I am not sure if it is still going on or expired like said earlier. And their Cpanel is not all that hot either, find somewhere else to go if you eventually plan to sell domain/website.

If you need a .info, Check my website and you will find .info is still 1.99USD. I am domain reseller and set the cheapest price my upstream allows.

I can echo the sentiments of the rest of the members posting here about yahoo. I fell for their 1.99 domain a few years back, it sounded like a good idea, but they soured me on the whole domain hosting thing i canceled my account and lost a good LLLL.net, my own silly fault for not going through their ridiculous process to transfer away, but i just couldn't deal with them anymore, avoid them like the plague please!

drugstores4u, thanks for the cheap .info registration I got a .info domain in mind

I've bought several domains from Yahoo. The hassle is no worse than anywhere else IMO.
