I've an impression that yahoo doesn't like meta tags stuffed with keywords I had google/yahoo traffic for http://www.flunkme.com 50/50 yahoo was mirroring google success on bringing visitors for my targeted keywords. But than I optimized my website abit, and I put allot of keywords in the meta tag - didn't stuff it, but I had around 100 keywords. Google didn't give a damn about this, and it continued to bring traffic as usuall, but yahoo was pissed off and during 2 weeks all the traffic went to zero! Than abit later, I removed some of the keywords, and now I see yahoo is back and its catching up with google 50/50! what do u think? was that an accident? or maybe yahoo really doesn't like meta tags?
wow! So how many keywords have you decided on using? I have always been unsure on this aspect. I had two different meta checkers tell me two different things on this topic....
well right now I've 50 keywords, 400 characters with spaces. and it looks fine and yahoo is sending me traffic, so I guess thats the limit
As far as I remember Yahoo can be amazed with excellent onpagfe optimization but you should place only the content relevant phrases into the meta tags as keywords. Content relevancy means that the given word occure at least one time in the visible text. And Google gives only a very little attention to the KWs.
