Is it worth paying for submission to the Yahoo directory? Will it affect Google rankings in any way? If I did apply do you think my site would be accepted?

I'm going to cancel my listing for this year. I personally do not think it's worth it - it's overly expensive and the inner pages are low PR anyway (usually 1-2). Many think that it will give you high Yahoo rankings, but it's just a myth. I think the $300 would be better spent on low-cost, targeted Adwords ads or article submission services.

I still think it's worth the money, it may not put your link on a high PR page, but it adds to your link reputation, just like DMOZ. High PR links are not the be all and end all of SEO.

I think all PR has been removed from all internal pages of yahoo directory.

I have two sites listed there. I don't care about the PR but I do wonder if G have stopped valuing the links.

It's probably very expensive. You may want to try the other free Yahoo Directories.

Spend some times and submit your website in the free web directories. Join forum and purchase blogroll. You will purchase 5-10 theme based blogroll link for six months and they will help to increase your website's ranking.

Link from Y dir gives your site good weight in the eyes of SE so if you have spare 300$ I would recommend to submit.

...yes, is like all internal pages PR have been removed. I wonder if it worth to submit to paid directories too.

I have heard that getting a listing in the yahoo directory is not
worth the price, and you will not get very much traffic from
    your listing.

    Hi All,

I have found that the page rank of some of the inner pages of yahoo directory were lowered to 0 in recent Google updation. So Is there any problem with Google search result if I submit my sites in Yahoo directory's inner categories. Will Google penalise the site for submitting in Yahoo's paid directory?

    Thanks
