    So I have paid the directory inclusion fee (299) and it has been over 8 days? I wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem?

    there is not a problem yet, they will respond to you within 7 business days, so 8 days may not over deadline .

    You need to contact them in order to see what the problem is...
    BTW, they count 7 Business Days to check your website, are you counting holidays too?
