Yahoo Directory

I'm trying to figure out if it is really worth it to invest $299 into the Yahoo Directory?

Will inclusion in the Yahoo Directory, really give me a boost in the serps of the Yahoo search engine?

Will it help me out in msn?

i got accepted to yahoo dir the other day. i just about 10 places for my keyword so far.

If you have to pay for it then I don't think it's worth the money spent. You could buy more content for your site with that amount.

 

4 days later and I get probably twice as much traffic from yahoo now. I am ranking well for keywords with high competition

 

What's your competition for keyword exactly? and how many searches for month/day for your keyword...? (yahoo search)

Too much money for 1 link if you ask me. If it did help with SERP's in Yahoo I think this is unfair. It's like there selling you good SERP.

 

I want to get listed yahoo directory but its my third time for an application. But no results.

 

Maybe it is better to find few other directories with the same quality (or almost the same), also paid but not so many. I'm not sure that it's a good way to spend money.

 

so far this week i got about 30 visits from yahoo directory. don't think they converted but its better traffic then other directories

 

its depend upon you and your budget, once u exp. u know the what is right
