It is worth for people who don't care about loosing $ 300 because there is no guarantee for inclusion. They charge it as a non refundable review fee.
Definitely worth it. After all, if you are serious with your web business, are you going to stop at investing 300$...
From my observations, it seems that most who complain about the price don't have a web site worth promoting to begin with. I've seen nothing but positive results on all of my sites that are listed there, year after year after year.
It depends on your business and where you are in your search engine standing. If your at the bottom of page one in the SEO search a link from the Yahoo Directory may just be the link you need to push you into the top 3.
It really depends on your business and where you are in your search standing. If you are ranked at the bottom of page one, that link from the Yahoo Directory may be all you need to push youself up to the top 3.
Depends on your online competition as well, and how much links you need in all. Although I agree that quality is always preferred over quantity.
Well,I think it's worthy.But I just tried directories for free,for those to pay I never use. Yahoo has some directories for charged,but some r free.Weird I think... DMOZ is the best directory.If u can submit to it successfully,ur long waiting will be worthy!
Some Yahoo Dir has PR 5, the rest PR 0. But with price $299 you can buy 2 PR5, sometimes member DP sell PR5 blogroll for only $100 yearly. My PR4 Bogroll only $50 yearly, just example.
i have some dropped domain PR3 or lower that allready has backliknk from YDir, GDir. I bought them only $30 or lower.
It worth it for a profitable mortar bricks company... but for somebody selling Brittany Spears ringtones....I agree with everybody that its not really that much in the scheme of things...and also that I could probably use the money in a more sound manner. If it aint broke, why fix it... so i have been in yahoo for 6-7 years?
I would say it is worth it if you have a very large budget. Otherwise there could be more cost effective options.
Yahoo backlink from directory would make your site worth so much. Most webmaster look forward to this kind of link;
Do you have your sites listed in Yahoo Directory? If yes are you experiencing better SERP after listing? Please share.
It's a SOLID quality backlink from ranking perspective for sure. I've 2 sites listed in Y dir and the link shows up high in backlink checkers like OSE / YSE but the referral traffic is not noteworthy.
