Yahoo Directory Submit worth 299 $ ?

salut, si ta un budget un peu serré, alors je te conseille de répartire les $299 sur plusieurs annuaires de qualité, sinon si coté budget ca va, alors yahoo pourrait bien t'aider pour ameliorer ton referenement et ta position dans les moteurs de recherche car c'est un annuaire recommandé par google, mais ne compte pas recevoir bc de traffic..

Translation for english speakers : not really worth it for traffic but may help with SEO as its recommended by google itself.

 

I think it is not worthless because Yahoo directory will help to get ranking in Yahoo search result that I have personally experience.

 

CReed, I think you may have hit upon the reason. Thanks. The religion field is pretty well represented in Yahoo's directory.

 

I have 1 site listed there and from my stats ,since listed (3months old) Y dir bring me 250-300 visitors everyday.
Worth or not it depend your business.
I've sold my service and most of them referred by Y dir.I paid for $299/year and have my cost back 2 months later.So listed in Y dir worthed for me.

I think submitting to Yahoo directory will have slight effect on your site ranking in Yahoo search organic result
