yahoo directory submission

Hi I have a small site which I am developing based on my little knowledge.
I want to submit my site to yahoo directory, though I don't have a separate domain. I have hosted in a free web hosting service.

Will I be able to submit my site??
And what is the procedure. People say that I should have a site map and I do not know how to create one.

Can you help me in submitting my site to yahoo directory??

If you are going to pay the money for a Yahoo listing I would recommend moving from a free hosting first.

 

Yahoo doesn't accept extensions of free web hosting. You will have to buy your own domain in order to get included.

If you site is a non profit site then you don't have to pay the $299/per year.

299 is so much. Since I believe there are more google searcher that yahoo has.

 

$299 wow sounds a little pompous to me. Think you might be better getting traffic without yahoo.
