Hi everyone, Yahoo Directory has strict quality guidelines is this right? How did this site get it then: http://www.cash-advance.tv/ They are listed here: http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_E...rvices/Financial_Services/Credit_and_Finance/ I'm interested because I want to submit a site too. And $300 is not bad for the SEO.
Of course, I have seen someone do it so I know what to expect. I know what types of sites wouldn't be good. So ddomingu you are saying he changed his site after? it used to be quality?
for me i dont want to spend 300$ for listing. it might be better to spend it for buying good permanant PR links. or spend for building backlinks for traffic.
Yahoo's "guidelines" are as follows. A.You give them money. B.They list your site. For $600 they'll list porn sites, so it's not like they have overly strict "guidelines" (though I'm sure there are no hate or overly sick fetish sites listed, but I'm not sure because I rarely use yahoo for anything.)
Site's name tells it all, was submitted with "Cash Advance" . I hope someday they find a criteria better than $300.
Personally I find the quality of the Yahoo directory dubious at best. It's amazing what $300 will do, there are a number of sites in there that would never pass into say for example the ODP. Well unless it was the ODP editors own site maybe
Why spend 300 dollars to get into Yahoo? For SEO? Come on!!! However, if you are submitting for traffic related issues then its a good deal I guess.... Yahoo is number one in terms of traffic! Weird!
so far you pays to yahoo for there paid submission.you can get listed anywhere.lol interested thing is it that yahoo itself move your site to right category if you have chosen wrong category
