Hello, I have 5 Websites currently listed on Yahoo Directories (PAID) Version and Yahoo Site Explorer. I am wondering if anyone is even getting any hits from the directory to your website? I am currently getting 2-5 hits per month on each domain from the directory but nothing major like I would expect it to for the high premium you pay... Also My yahoo site explorer is all verified and auth'd but I can't seem to get any traffic to it... Can someone help for ideas with Yahoo Site Explorer?

Does anyone monitor their yahoo listings? And Do you get any good traffic from any yahoo listing services like site explorer?

You don't get any traffic from directories these days. They are just good for their backlinks.

I agree with kder86. You don't get much traffic from directories.

I have several listings myself. And my performance mirrors yours. People no longer dig to find listings, they just search.... look at the top results, clear the search and start over with new keywords.

The Value of the Yahoo Directory is in the Ranking Boost. Anyone that would pay to be listed is considered Legit by Google. Now this begs the real question: "Is it worth paying to get an unmeasurable, but apparently tangible Boost in Rankings".

I have or had one site, but never saw traffic that I recall.

It's just a high priced backlink these days. Not worth it, imho.

I am sure the Yahoo Directory would be worth the SERP boost if one can afford it.

I believe that directories are good for back links only. How about blog commenting or social media?

    Yahoo Directory is oldest,
Even if there is not much on the hits as the directories are out of fashion in most cases. They do provide the precious backlinks. :)

You should check your keywords. You may not be getting alot of hits becuase people are not searching for "the keywords" listed for your site. Try to add or change some keywords in your metatags. Yahoo will automatically get the new data when they respider your site.
