Ok, I have a site that is in the Yahoo directory. I found this category in the directory while researching my topic on a large authority site. A PR 6 page on this authority site I has a link to this page in the Yahoo directory in this form: dir.yahoo.com/Topic/Topic_2 - When you click through this link, it shows the directory page with a PR of 5. However, when you go through the Yahoo directory manually to find the category, it shows a PR0 page in this form dir.yahoo.com/topic/topic_2. The only difference is that the first letter in each word of the URL is capitalized in the link from the PR6 page. So, is there a different PR for each URL, the capitalized and non-capitalized? If G's spider finds it through the Yahoo directory, and the PR6 page, which will it count? Both, neither? The higher of the two? If I need to clarify anything, let me know. Anyone with solid answers? Please don't answer with "don't pay attention to PR, it doesn't matter." It does matter some, especially from relevant pages.
Yahoo recently reconstructed it's entire directory, the High PR page is most likely the old page and the capitilized page is registering with Google as a new page within the new Yahoo structure..... Right now, your probably gaining beneifts from both.
