Yahoo! Directory Paid Submission question

    Hello all,

Could someone tell me what is the likelihood of Yahoo rejecting the paid submission. I am a bit concerned as in their instructions it says they do not allow dead links which they appear from time to time (outgoing ones at the resources pages of the site linking to link exchange partners and thus out of my control). Can this influence the rejection?

The site otherwise is Google PR 5 and has 599 back links pointing to it...

    Please advise.

    Thanks :)

I don't think it would. Periodically check those links.
I have seen some software out in the market that helps notify you of dead links. Try those.

I recently got my site listed onto yahoo web directory. We made certain to follow the guideline so that we were certain we didn't break any of the rules.

As far as the likelihood of yahoo rejecting something .. i highly doubt it .. especially over dead links from a link exchange. As long as your site isn't crap and provides quality material you'll get in.

$299 submission fee + $299 annual fee (if submitted) .. if you are rejected .. bye bye $299

Loosing the 299$ when yahoo rejects your site from inclusion is really a big money. Absolutely we have no control over the dead links at the partner's end. :(
