I am re-posting this here as Yahoo directory related posts seem to get more responses in this section, even though it is supposed to be posted in the directory section...(hope that is OK!)... So, 300 dollars a year is a big investment for me, but I am serious about my site, and want to get this authority directory link with Yahoo. Thing is, I am not sure which is the best category in terms of SEO. The 'most appropriate' is very deep, and has 5 sites in it, most of which would be great for co-citation, but it is PR0 and NOT EVEN CACHED WITH GOOGLE! So maybe a bad idea? The next category level up is less appropriate (but still appropriate), has 20 sites in it, not so good for co-citation, but it is PR2 (ok, not great, but better than 0!) and is at least cached with Google. BUT HERE THE SITES HAVE "POPULAR SITES" written above them, and not "SITE LISTINGS" - does that mean I will have trouble submitting there? I am a little worries that I will end up on a page non-cached by Google, even if I did submit to another category, because they may just put me in the most appropriate category anyway. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
