    It costs around USD300 to get listed for just one year in Yahoo Directory.

    i spend 2 days for creating good meta tags for listing in yahoo ... hmmm

    You have to pay for inclusion into Yahoo directory. Also i think google realy likes yahoo directory ;) so it is your money well spent.

    Is free for non-commercial websites. You just have to keep try submitting your site because is not always working. Took me 1 week or so to be able to submit.

    I paid the $300 for a speedy "review" and was listed. If you get listed I think google gives you a little trust boost...at least it seemed that way for me. You might try http://ca.dir.yahoo.com/ I have heard you can get in the yahoo directory easier through .ca

    some non commercial sites can get in for free but everyone else has to pay $300/year
    which I don't think is that bad for the traffic and link juice they provide
