Yahoo crawled my forum in 5 minutes...weird?

    So I submitted my forum's URL to yahoo, and 5 minutes later I see their spider crawled my site. I thought this was odd because the page says you'll have to wait several weeks to be crawled, if ever. Is this abnormal or does Yahoo always crawl sites so easily after submission?

    Maybe I should have said "visited." I simply saw yahoo bot visiting my forum.

    if ı am right you must pay 299$ per year to be in the yahoo directory quickly.you can wait 1-2 months priceless sign-ups.

    I have inktomi slurp crawling my site every day, but I do not seem to rank for any of my terms in yahoo. crawling and ranking are different things
