I ran identical campaigns on Yahoo and Google today. Google drove 509 clicks to my site versus 46 clicks from Yahoo.

    wow.

Have others done similar tests? Can you share your results?

It all depends on they keyword you're advertising on. Google gets a lot more searches - where yahoo is good sometimes.

That's about right from what I've heard and what I've seen. Google outperforms the others about 10 to 1. Some say the quality of clicks is higher from Live and Yahoo which I tend to doubt, but YMMV.

    How was your bounce rate?

I have been using both for a few months now and I get a few more hits from google but I pay much more to yahoo. I think the problem is my inexprience and not having the time to spend to figure things out. I guess that's why I am here.

Personally I always see much better conversions from Yahoo than Google. Talking here about the searching engines, not the PPC one.

I don't see much of a difference in conversion rates, but I am paying more on a CPC basis for the Yahoo traffic than for the Google traffic, and getting way less traffic from Yahoo.

I am seeing very good conversion numbers on yahoo organic searches vs google organic. Although I get times as much traffic from google.

I see about 90% of all traffic from Google. Yahoo, Ask, MSN, split the remaining 10%

google is the most used search engine and yahoo is the next
so google will always(most likely) bring you more traffic

My best bounce rate is with MSN actually, I don't get too many visits from them but when I do they average out to viewing 4 of my 9 pages.
