    No, it means they would not be able to compensate me appropriately.

    As far as their combined sales, I guess if they wanted to give me 50% of their combined sales, then they could afford me I guess.

    In truth, they probably could (technically) afford me, but I would not be willing to take less than $1M/month (and I would not be willing to manage anyone or work overtime for that). I'm guessing they are unable to pay that.
