http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...ver-the-phone/2011/09/07/gIQAaDsE9J_blog.html So, what do you think will happen to Yahoo? Will this help or hurt them? Their stocks were up today too!
Wow, over the phone. It makes GM's tactic of Fedex-ing pink slips to their dealers not seem so bad anymore.
Think of it this way, she didn't have to face the truth and sob about it in front of the chairman. But wow. How bad could she have been? Haha even CEO's get fired what a story.
nothing is stable in the world.. but the way CEO fired is very bad. there should be a respect to the employers. if CEO fired over phone, think about the other employers...
I think there was some major issue due to which CEO has been fired on phone. Most of the time, HR give hints to an employee who is on danger zone. But, what ever has happened is very rude and humiliating. It would demoralize yahoo employees more, affecting yahoo in the end.
Now that really is news, but to top it I once read a FB post where the employee didn't know his boss was added and he was fired on FB. These things are really bad, the downside of technology.
