Yahoo & Caching

What is up with Yahoo and caching, some sites I check with the site:command show pages indexed but no cache results...and yes these sites aren't using a robots.txt or such "no cache" command..

Why doesn't Y! show cached pages (except for main index page)?

Also these sites are ranking in the Y! search.

    Any ideas?

    Anyone else noticed this?

All of our sites, 20+ are indexed but not cached on all but the index pages, it's the oddest thing I have ever seen.

Not at all, these are OLD sites too, sites that have been around for 5 years and the first Yahoo update we just lost all rankings.

Our theory is that they took out our whole IP block. This would explain why all of our sites were taken out, new and old. We have tried many different things to try to regain the rankings, but, to no avail. All I am seeing is that large stores (walmart, target, etc) and yahoo stores as well as spammy sites are seeming to get a boost in our industry.

We also tried Search Submit and it's amazing that our sites are good enough to be at the top of the serps so long as we continue to pay. I ran it for 20 days and found it is not nearly as profitable as you would think, we were actually paying them about 50% of our profits to make it work.

I contacted Yahoo and got the same canned response over and over about how they cannot tell you whats wrong with your site...blah blah blah.

I think if Yahoo keeps this crap up they are going to be extremely sorry in the end. This "We have to make money on everything" approach is really starting to piss people off. The 2 serps above the fold, which, because of search submit, may or may not be actual serps, but, paid listings.

    Irritates the hell outta me.
