Yahoo bug

    Hello.

    I have a small problem whit yahoo messenger since i upgraded to win 7 sp1. It seems every time i close yahoo, the icon in the right corner bar doesn't dissapear. It also doesn't work, i click on it right click, left click, nothing. I can open a new yahoo messenger from the desktop icon but then i have 2 icons in the buttom right corner
    I tryed unistalling, cleaning whit ccleaner after that, nothing
    It happened when i upgraded from the old win 7 to sp1 and the same after a fresh install of win 7 sp1.
    The only way to close that messenger icon is from the task manager.

    Anyone has any ideas?
    Ps: the same whit messenger 9,10 or the 11 beta.

    Yahoo sucks, it has a ton of bugs, had problems with since I made an account. My common problems were that I couldn't change status, avatars, and a most annoying bug when I couldn't read what I write or what others write, and the only way to fix it in this case was to reinstall my OS. I think you'll have to do the same thing...

    You can delete from Task Manager< Processes and find the process for the Yahoo Messenger nand end that.

    I already sed i'm doing that to close the bug icon, but its annoying to do that every time, i was looking for a solution to stop the bug completly.

    I think it is due to yahoo messenger uninstaller problem. You can Try Revo Uninstaller.

    And use what whit my yahoo mail?
    Also i use yahoo messenger becose there is more then 1 person in the house and i can make it to be multi messenger:(

    You can uninstall yahoo messenger and start using Gmail. :)

    Try removing the temp memory. C:\windows\Temp and C:\users\Local\Appdata\Temp.
