Yahoo! Briefcase shutting down on March 30th

    The ten year old online file storage service is shutting down on March 30th, 2009.

    If you had uploaded files on Briefcase, go check it and download 'em.

    Was a good service back in it's day however it faces competition from many web sites whom only focus on onliner storage. As the article said they need to focus more on search as they become more competitive with Google.

    Another feature that Yahoo never really supported. I'm shocked they've supported Flickr this long really. I hope Bartz really sets to focusing Yahoo again. I do like them, but they need to return to what was their strong suit.

    I use briefcase to upload my files in school only site that my teacher lets us upload our files.

    Oh there are still people who uses Y! Briefcase... You havent hear about SkyDrive, Live Mesh, Box.net????? LOL
