Yahoo Board to Reject Microsoft Bid

    Yahoo Inc.'s board plans to reject Microsoft Corp.'s unsolicited $44.6 billion offer to acquire the Web giant, a person familiar with the situation says.

    But it isn't confirmed yet, perhaps this is an industry rumor?

    Hope MC gets what they want for the sake of everyone else, and dude, that's a lot of money to reject. Even if it's Yahoo!

    Could be a rumour. Yahoo has been talking to MS for some time. The rejection, if there, could be with the objective of better negotiations.

    This is MS's only last opportunity to hit big into the online advertising market. If YaHoo rejects the bid then MS will have to do a lot of work to keep pace with big daddy google. But i am sure MS will come up with a better offer if this one gets rejected.
