    Im searching the answer myself, Ive heard Microsoft will buy them soon. Also, yahoo's crawler is disappeared from my website. Although, Im still in yahoo search results, but bing/msn is still crawling, hmmm. Plus Yahoo's Site Explorer is gone too, and now its in bings hands I think. Do you have yahoo's slurp on your website now?

    I've been reading that Yahoo and Bing may merge. I guess time will tell.

    No! exactly same thing happens with my website, yahoo's crawler is disappeared from my website too but still in yahoo search results. And then i hear the merging news of yahoo and bing !

    I have read a news on seochat's blog today that yahoo is going to Layoff its employees from this week. Perhaps it is doing so to cut through its size to merge into Bing.

    Guys its already merged as you can see the yahoo webmaster tools is there in Bing and at the same time if you submit a website it took you to the Bing so its already done .

    Looking on Wikipedia, I've seen that Microsoft and Yahoo! went into a 10 year deal with each other, which will explain why Yahoo's webmaster stuff is all over at Bing Webmasters now. That deal was taken up in July 2009.

    Anybody who cares about SEO or search traffic should follow all the popular search engines :)


    Yahoo pretty much just pulls its results straight from Bing, compare them.

    phewww, thanks for telling, I was going mad, thinking that something is blocking yahoo's crawler.

    but yahoo's crawler disappeared recently, thats why I was thinking what happened to it.
